These Terms are an agreement between you and SMCI Media LLC, a Florida limited liability company, which operates KiwiOrange Keystone at kiwiorangesolutions.com.
A Keystone hub for one campus. Every person at that campus may use it, across all five groups: staff, admin, admin assistants, parents and students. There is no limit on links or categories, the phone app is included, and updates arrive at no extra cost.
$3,000 US dollars per campus per year, billed once at the start of each year of service.
A subscription covers a single campus. A group or district running several campuses needs one subscription for each campus using Keystone, whether or not they share an email domain.
Each campus gets its own hub, its own links and its own settings. If you run more than one, tell us and we will set them up together and invoice them together.
Keystone is provided by SMCI Media LLC, a Florida limited liability company (Florida filing number L26000349528), trading as KiwiOrange Solutions. SMCI Media LLC is the party you are contracting with, the name that appears on your invoice, and the company that receives your payment.
A subscription runs for one year from the day it starts. We send the renewal invoice about 60 days before your term ends and remind you as the date approaches, so a renewal never creeps up on you.
It renews only when you choose to pay it. Nothing is charged automatically unless you specifically ask us to set that up, and if you do, we always email you 30 days before any charge so you can stop it.
You can stop at any time by telling us, or simply by not paying the renewal invoice. Stopping never triggers a charge.
First 30 days: if Keystone is not right for your school, tell us and we refund everything.
After that: if you decide to stop part way through a year, we refund the whole months remaining on your term. Six months left on a $3,000 year is $1,500 back. Your hub keeps working to the end of the month we refund through, so nothing goes dark in the middle of a week.
You do not have to explain why, and asking does not affect how we treat you if you come back later.
Keystone stores the links you create, the categories you name, and the access rules you set. Access rules are either an email domain, which is a rule rather than a person, or specific email addresses, which are stored as one way hashes and cannot be read back by anyone, including us.
We do not ask for, and do not hold, student names, student numbers, grades, or any other record about a person at your school.
We record which links are opened so we can show you what your school actually uses. We count how often each link is opened and never record who opened it. There is no identifier of any kind on those records, not even a hash, so no individual's activity exists to be looked at by you, by us, or by anyone who asked.
You can export your links and categories at any time from inside Keystone, and we recommend doing it before your term ends.
At the end of your term your hub is switched off. We keep your links and settings so that you can pick up where you left off if you come back, rather than rebuilding from nothing. Ask us at any point and we delete everything permanently instead.
Keystone runs on Cloudflare. Your data is held in a Cloudflare D1 database whose primary region is North America, with Cloudflare's own replication. Because we store no student or staff records (see our privacy policy and data processing terms), there is no roster to hold in any region.
Keystone runs on Cloudflare's global network. We do not promise a specific uptime figure. If something is broken, tell us and we will fix it.
Keystone is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits anything that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of that state.
